It all started in a town called Martin, Tennessee. Not many know where it is, but for us, that tiny southern town was the start of something beautiful. Both Tim and myself were working on our undergraduate degrees at UT Martin, when we met through a mutual friend, (Lexi, here's your time to shine!) Our first date was at the local Mexican restaurant and we ended up talking for hours. It sounds cliche, but it truly felt like we had known each other our entire lives. I think that night, we both knew that it was the start of something special. That was the beginning of our story!A handful of dates later, and we were officially an item. As we both pursued our degrees, Tim graduated before me in 2020 and moved three hours away to Nashville. Everyone always asked how we managed being apart so well, and quite honestly it never felt like work. We would trade off weekends visiting, traveling together on family trips and to horse shows when our schedules allowed for it. Time seemed to move differently at the beginning of our relationship due to COVID-19 and lockdowns, but as things began to return to normal, life started to move even faster, giving us more time to really settle down. Our relationship has grown and evolved quite a bit throughout the past 5 years, pushing us to be the best versions of ourselves. Since getting engaged at New Years, we have been trying to enjoy every season, appreciating this busy but extremely fun wedding planning process. We are both so excited to start our lives together as a married couple and celebrate with all of our loved ones soon enough!

We strongly advise our guests to book their accommodations sooner rather than later. Gloucester and the surrounding towns are smaller and incredibly popular destinations in the summer. Due to the fact that we are getting married on Labor Day weekend, hotel rooms will get booked up very quickly.Please plan accordingly!
